METHODS OF PAYMENT
1) Draft Checking – Pay as you go! Your checking account is debited once per month on an on-going basis. May be canceled with 15 days written notice to the Rye YMCA. A check or credit card for first month and joiner’s fee due at signing. Drafting is on-going until a 15 day written notice is given. (You must have a check with you to sign up for draft checking.) We offer a 3% cash/check discount.

MEMBERSHIP HOLD STATUS
Memberships may be put on hold for a minimum of one month (and no more than five months) within a twelve month period at a rate of $15/month. While your membership is on hold you may not use the Y or register for classes as a member. Hold status requires a 7 day written notice. Hold status does not apply to Youth or College Away memberships. Click here for form.
BILLING INFORMATION
Draft payment is a continuous membership plan that will remain active until a formal cancellation request is processed. Membership cancellation requests can be submitted via email at termination@ryeymca.org.
Members are required to notify the Rye YMCA immediately of any changes to their bank account, debit, or credit card information, including instances where a card is lost or stolen. Members accept responsibility for any charges incurred due to failure to provide proper notification of these changes.
If a membership draft is not honored by the member’s bank for any reason, the member remains responsible for that payment, in addition to any applicable bank service fees charged to the Rye YMCA. This is separate from any fees the member’s bank may charge.
Memberships may be placed on hold once within a 12-month period for up to five months, at a cost of $15 per month. After this five-month hold period, regular billing will automatically resume unless the membership is canceled.
Memberships are continuous, and the Rye YMCA staff and Board of Directors may, at their discretion, adjust the monthly rate for each membership category. Members will receive at least 30 days’ notice of any such change via email and/or written communication.
Membership fees are non-transferable. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made outside of the guidelines outlined.
• New members may cancel their membership without penalty within three (3) days of joining. A prorated refund will be issued.
• Annual memberships may be canceled without penalty within 15 days of the renewal date. A prorated refund will be issued.
• The Rye YMCA may retain fees for membership benefits already provided or accessed prior to cancellation.
CANCELLATION INFORMATION

• Medical disability (requires a doctor’s order)
• Death of the member (requires a death notice)
• Relocation beyond a 25-mile radius from the YMCA (requires proof of new address)
• Discontinuation or unavailability of YMCA services
