Rye Y Gymnasts Shine at CT State YMCA Championships

The Rye Y gymnastics team showcased their talent at the CT State Championships, March 23-24, joining 400 gymnasts from New York and Connecticut. Among them, Emily Kao shone brightly, with a remarkable 2nd place all-around finish in Level 3.

The  Xcel Silver team secured an impressive 4th place overall, with individual champions, Azie Patterson, Lua Janovsky and Sophie Grieve  winning the top three all-around trophies. Valeria Ramos placed 2nd in the Xcel senior division.
