The Rye YMCA is bringing its popular EnhanceFitness program to Mamaroneck for the first time. Starting on November 11, this program will run until February 14 and is free and open to the entire community.

Designed for older adults of all fitness levels—especially those managing conditions like arthritis—EnhanceFitness offers a fun and supportive way to get moving. You’ll build strength, improve flexibility, enhance balance, and increase your overall mobility, all while gaining greater independence. The exercises are dynamic and can be tailored to fit your pace, ensuring you feel comfortable and empowered every step of the way.

Classes will be held in the Rye Y Nursery School's Multipurpose Room, located at St. John’s Church, 122 Fenimore Rd, Mamaroneck, NY, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:30-1:30 pm

“EnhanceFitness fosters mental and social well-being by creating a community where participants are surrounded by people who care about their success,” said Karina Barreto, Rye Y’s Community Health Coordinator. “It’s a perfect opportunity to stay active and connect with others in a supportive environment.”
