Rye YMCA Gymnastics Team Shines at 2025 Northeast Regional Championships

The Rye YMCA Gymnastics Team had a strong showing at the 2025 YMCA Gymnastics Northeast Regional Championship, held May 9–11 in Newport, Rhode Island. Hosted by the Newport County YMCA, the event brought together 916 gymnasts and coaches from five states for a weekend of spirited competition and athletic achievement.

Several Rye Y athletes earned medals for their standout performances:

Mia Mormile (Xcel Silver) – Medal on Vault
Olivia Olivares (Xcel Silver) – Medals on Vault and Floor
Addie O’Mary (Xcel Silver) – Medals on Vault and Floor
Anne Maranon (Xcel Silver) – Medal on Floor
Ferra Dailey Lasala (Level 3) – Medal on Vault
Charlotte Hein (Level 2) – Medal  on Floor

The team is headed to the YMCA nationals June 24 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
