NEW FRIENDSHIPS AND LASTING SMILES
Discovery Camp is a traditional day camp program that allows our campers to experience everything that our camps have to offer. This off-site camp program is located at the Osborn School in Rye to allow for the full use of our outdoor programs and curriculum.
A packed session of swim lessons and instructional sports to science, arts, music and much more keep our campers engaged and excited every day. Our age-appropriate programs allow our campers to grow, building upon their progression in each new skill and activity.

What should campers bring to camp each day?
Camp Hours
Discovery Camp operates Monday-Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm. For those in need of additional care, we offer Extended Care in the mornings and afternoons. Registration for this additional program is by week.
Morning Extended Care starts at 7:30am.
Afternoon Extended Care is available until 6:30pm and includes a light healthy snack.

Our caring staff will help campers explore their first steps into full day programs that include daily swim lessons, art projects, dance and movement, an introduction to sports and much more. Explorers will have a Special Guest visit them each week at camp.
Because we are focused on your camper you will receive weekly reports on how they are doing.
DAILY SWIM LESSONS
The Explorers participate in daily swim lessons. Instruction is provided through our certified aquatic staff and our trained camp counselors. Campers are assessed on their first day of camp and placed into one of four swim categories for their age group. They will have the opportunity to progress through the levels as their abilities improve throughout the summer. Children will be bused to the Y for their swimming lessons.

Still in their beginning years, our Pioneers will explore new programs such as science and organized sports classes as well as daily swim lessons. The Pioneers also experience camp trips for the first time this year.

Advancing out of Lower Camp, our Trailblazers begin to participate in team building, progressive swim lessons, special electives along with everything else our camp has to offer. Trailblazers experience weekly field trips.

Our oldest group of Discovery Campers has the full reign of all that camp has to offer. The Pathfinders will focus on teamwork activities and challenges. They also experience weekly field trips.

Pathfinders will have a combination of free swim and swim lessons each week. Instruction is provided through our certified aquatic staff and our trained camp counselors. Campers are assessed on their first day of camp and placed into one of four swim categories for their age group. They will have the opportunity to progress through the levels as their abilities improve throughout the summer. Children will be bused to the Y for their swimming lessons.
