We moved from the city looking for a network and a community and the Rye Y was highly recommended to us. The prices here are fair. The babysitting is a lifeline for me – the childcare is really terrific. Gina and Velia are like grandparents to Maddy and Jack. Their grandparents live far away – so the relationship is so special. Maddy calls the Y Gee Gee’s house.
We’ve done music class, swimming and ballet. I use the fitness center. We moved here a couple months before Super Storm Sandy and I couldn’t believe how wonderful it was here. The way the Y opened up its facility to the community was so heartwarming. We had no heat and spent and spent time playing in the gymnasium and getting to know other families.
We come here often and always leave happy.
