YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program
Next session starts December 9: Wednesdays at 6:00pm via Zoom

Are you at risk? The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program helps those at high risk through healthy eating, increased physical activity and weight loss- an approach that has been proven to prevent or delay the onset of the disease by more than half.
Program Goals: Reduce body weight by 7%; Increase physical activity to 150 minutes per week You must be overweight and have a diagnosis of prediabetes or overweight and at high risk for developing diabetes to qualify for the program.

Exercise at the Y or via Zoom
Fitness Center, lap swim and live group exercise/indoor cycling classes are available by reservation. Please call 914-967-6363 to reserve a spot two days before. (Call Friday for Monday.)
Water exercise classes are by registration.  Please contact Vickie Tsakmakis for more info.
