BOOKS, CRAFTS & FUN
NEW! Canasta/Mah Jongg, Crafty Crew and Booked at the Y will meet this fall at the Rye Free Reading Room – 1061 Boston Post Road. Masks required.
Tuesdays: Canasta – 10:30am-12:30pm
Thursdays: Mah Jongg – 10:30am-12:30pm – (Mah Jongg players, be sure you have your 2021 card.)
The group meets bi-weekly to work on community or individual craft projects. Past projects included blankets for Warm Up America and Open Door. Special individual projects included: illuminary jar, pop-up holiday cards and decorative paper stars. You will need knitting needes or crochet hooks and yarn. New members welcome!

LiveSTRONGER Alumni Program: hybrid format
September 14- October 12, Tuesday, 5:30-6:15pm
Our LIVESTRONGER program will help you continue the physical activity you began during your LIVESTRONG at the YMCA class. Participants will work on building muscle mass and strength, increasing flexibility and endurance and improving confidence and self-esteem. This is a five-week program that will meet once a week for 45 minutes. The classes will be guided by LIVESTRONG at the YMCA instructors as well as other practitioners and professionals who specialize in working with cancer survivors.
