RYE, NY (March 17, 2015) Enthusiastic Rye Y fans rallied together at the Manursing Island Club on Saturday, March 14 to enjoy an evening of play-off basketball games on four big-screen TVs, tasty food, conversation and some competitive pop-a-shot, ping pong and foosball play. Handmade chocolate lollipops were donated by Blue Tulip Chocolates in support of the Rye Y’s LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program and sold to “lick” cancer. U2 tickets were auctioned off to two lucky winners for a July performance at Madison Square Garden.
“We are grateful to our generous supporters,” said Sally Wright, Rye Y’s Development Director. “Our fundraising efforts ensure that we can keep our doors open to all, regardless of a family’s financial circumstance.
