Financial Aid
In 2008, the Rye Y awarded over $142,000 in financial aid.
The Rye YMCA offers financial assistance to anyone who cannot afford to become a member or participate in programs. This is made possible by the support of our donors and the Y's fundraising efforts held throughout the year.
If you are in need of financial assistance for the year 2009 (Jan - Dec), please print and fill out the financial assistance application (pdf) and return as soon as possible. (Remember, you must submit all necessary documentation – 2008 income tax return, 2008 W-2, and copies of your current pay stubs – for the past month, in order for your application to be reviewed.)

This application takes 4-8 weeks to process after application and documentation information is completely submitted. Once a decision has been reached, you will receive a letter by mail outlining the decision on financial aid. If all information requested is not submitted, we will not be able to grant financial aid to you or your family.
Our Financial Assistance program is offered on a calendar year basis, therefore after January 1 of each year your scholarship will be prorated to cover any needs through December 31 of that year.
